Why does hugo chavez hate the united states?

Because he got pretty pissed off when the US government(CIA) urged to pay these people to overthrow the government because of their oil. Also, we've been wanting to establish bases in Colombia, where they are some what enemies against Venezuela, and we urge their military to start a conflict. In the end, it is the US corporations, paying the government/CIA, to overthrow Chavez, because his country is rich in oil. Take care.
